In
our experience, especially in relatively small businesses, the
individual or group purchasing new hardware and software systems
does not have the requisite knowledge to make an informed decision.
Of course, this places that business (and its money) right where
the fast-talking, oh-so-congenial, sales representative wants 'em.
Often, the business ends up buying expensive, proprietary systems
that looked great in that PowerPoint presentation, but fall short
of the mark once installed at the office. We understand how this
can (and does) happen. Unfortunately, after your business
has purchased a system or has invested in some 'new' technology
is a bad time to learn it doesn't meet your needs or is already
obsolete. |
